A Bit About Me
The Capital District of Upstate New York has been my lifelong home. I was raised in the scenic hills of Glenville, NY, just north of Scotia, and graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1970. After high school, I left the area to pursue higher education, attending college and seminary for seven years.

In 1977, I returned to serve the Bethlehem Community Church in Delmar, NY, and later the East Glenville Community Church in Glenville. In 1989, I helped launch the Saratoga Chapel, a growing Christian church in Saratoga County.

I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Carol, for over 40 years, and we have four amazing children—three daughters and one son.

In addition to my role as a pastor in the Capital Region, I’ve enjoyed diverse work experiences: I’ve driven trucks, worked in home health care, assisted in an advertising agency, and supported individuals with developmental disabilities.

I’m passionate about sports—especially basketball, running, and tennis (though my backhand still needs work!). I’m also an active member of the Rotary Club of Malta, NY, where I enjoy giving back to the local community.
